Lifetime Purchase, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Published 16 September 2026 · effective 16 September 2026.
Last updated: 16 September 2026 This policy explains FaceCards’ one-time lifetime purchase, free trial, final-sale position, statutory cancellation rights, refunds and entitlement consequences. FaceCards does not currently sell the standard lifetime entitlement as an automatically renewing subscription. If a recurring product is introduced later, this policy must be updated before it is sold. Nothing in this policy removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK or other applicable consumer law. 1. Before you pay Before a website purchase is completed, we will provide the material pre-contract information required by law, including the product, current one-time price and currency, applicable taxes, material functionality, any material compatibility limitations, device limit, promotion conditions and how the lifetime entitlement works. The live checkout is the current source of the commercial offer. Old screenshots, videos or posts may become outdated. 2. Free trial Where enabled, the current default trial is a 24-hour calendar period measured from account creation. The live registration/pricing flow controls the trial actually offered. A trial may be changed or withdrawn for new users without changing an already-promised trial contrary to law. A trial is intended to let you test compatibility before purchase. You should test the camera, gestures, target app/site and device you care about before buying where reasonably possible. 3. What “lifetime access” means A qualifying one-time purchase creates a non-expiring FaceCards account entitlement for the supported FaceCards product while ONECORTEX LTD continues to make the product available, subject to lawful enforcement, refunds/revocations, platform availability and the Terms. It is not a recurring subscription and does not carry a scheduled renewal charge. “Lifetime” does not guarantee support for every future operating-system version, third-party application, browser, device or app store. It also does not permit us to ignore statutory remedies if the paid product is withdrawn or materially fails to match what was sold. 4. Website payment provider Website payments may be processed through Stripe. Stripe may collect payment credentials and apply payment-security, tax and promotion-code functions. FaceCards receives transaction and status information needed to grant or revoke the entitlement. 5. Apple and Google purchases Where released, Apple App Store or Google Play purchases are processed through the relevant store. Store billing, refund request and purchase-restoration processes may apply in addition to this policy. A store’s process does not remove mandatory statutory rights against the responsible trader where those rights apply. 6. Final-sale position and statutory cancellation rights FaceCards is a one-time purchase, not an automatically renewing subscription. We do not provide a contractual right to cancel a completed purchase or a discretionary change-of-mind refund once digital supply has begun, except where we expressly agree otherwise in writing or applicable law requires a remedy. For UK digital content supplied immediately and not on a tangible medium, a statutory 14-day cancellation right may be lost when supply begins only if, before supply, the consumer has given the legally required prior express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that the cancellation right will be lost, and the required contract confirmation is provided. Acceptance of the general Terms alone does not automatically remove every statutory cancellation right. If the legal conditions for loss of a cancellation right have not been met, the consumer keeps whatever cancellation right the law provides. If a purchase includes a service element for which a statutory cancellation right continues despite immediate commencement, that right also remains to the extent required by law. 7. Immediate supply and when the purchase becomes final FaceCards is designed to unlock digital access promptly after payment. Where checkout asks you separately to request immediate supply and acknowledge the resulting loss of a statutory cancellation right, choosing that option means you want supply to begin immediately. Once supply begins and the applicable cancellation right has been validly lost, the purchase is final, subject only to mandatory statutory remedies, confirmed billing errors, payment-provider reversals or another express written entitlement. 8. When to contact us about cancellation, refunds or remedies FaceCards does not offer routine or discretionary change-of-mind refunds. Contact facecardssupport@gmail.com only if you believe you have a statutory cancellation or consumer remedy, there has been a duplicate/incorrect charge, a payment provider has reversed or refunded the transaction, or we have expressly promised a refund or other remedy in writing. Include the account email, purchase provider, transaction/receipt reference, purchase date, amount and a short explanation. For Apple or Google purchases, the store’s own process may also apply. 9. Faulty, misdescribed or improperly supplied digital content/services UK consumer law requires paid digital content to meet mandatory standards including being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable and as described. Services also carry statutory standards. Where FaceCards is legally faulty, misdescribed or improperly supplied, available remedies may include repair, replacement/repeat performance, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances. This policy does not replace those rights. 10. No discretionary change-of-mind refunds Except for a statutory right or remedy, confirmed billing error, valid payment-provider reversal/refund, express written guarantee or other specific legal entitlement, all sales are final after immediate supply begins and any applicable cancellation right has been lawfully lost. We do not provide goodwill or discretionary refunds solely because: • you change your mind after the applicable cancellation right has been lawfully lost or expired; • you did not use the product after purchase; • you later prefer a different controller product; • a clearly disclosed unsupported platform or third-party app is not compatible; • a third-party app changes after purchase and breaks a previously working integration, where FaceCards itself remains supplied as contracted; or • you configured an unsuitable mapping or calibration. Nothing in this section limits any cancellation, repair, replacement, repeat-performance, price-reduction, refund or other remedy that applicable law requires. 11. Duplicate or incorrect charges If FaceCards or the payment provider confirms a duplicate charge, incorrect amount or other billing error, we will provide the correction required in the circumstances. This may include a reversal or refund where appropriate. 12. Unrecognised transactions and fraud Tell us and the relevant payment provider promptly if you do not recognise a charge. We may temporarily restrict the entitlement while genuine payment fraud or account compromise is investigated. 13. Full refunds and entitlement revocation A full refund, charge reversal, Apple/Google revocation or equivalent provider event that is required by law or otherwise validly made may change the purchase to refunded/revoked status and revoke the linked FaceCards lifetime entitlement. Controller access may then return to whatever trial or other entitlement remains available. 14. Partial refunds Where a partial refund or price reduction is required by law, expressly agreed by us, or validly recorded by the payment provider, the purchase may remain partially refunded and the entitlement may remain active unless the remedy terms provide otherwise. 15. Promotion codes Promotion codes reduce the price only where accepted by the relevant checkout. Their value is not redeemable for cash unless law requires otherwise. Any refund or price reduction that is legally required or validly agreed normally reflects the amount actually paid rather than the undiscounted list price. 16. Account deletion Deleting an account does not itself reverse a completed purchase or create a refund right. Consider any active purchase/refund issue before confirming permanent account deletion. 17. Changes to price The price for new purchases may change. A change to the price for future customers does not create an automatic refund or additional charge for a completed one-time purchase. 18.
